TILE PROJECT LANSING MI

Showers

Choosing the right size and color of tile for your shower will bring out the best in your bathroom space. Once the tile is chosen, Dan O’s Ceramic Tile will expertly install moisture and mold resistant board, mud set on the floor, and a floor liner that runs 6” up the shower wall. After the shower is properly prepared, the tile is professionally installed.

Tub Surrounds

Using a detailed, moisture and mold resistant prep, our tub tile installation is professional in every sense of the word. A tile or natural stone surround for your tub or Jacuzzi creates a beautiful focal point in your bathroom, giving it a relaxing spa feel.

Floors

Great looking, durable tile begins with exceptional, professional prep-work. Each floor is unique, so we prepare the subfloor accordingly. We use several steps from sanding to screwing down floor boards to make sure your tile floor is not only beautiful, but level and durable as well.

Kitchen Backsplash

We always consider your existing design when tiling in the kitchen. Do you have a wall centerpiece? We’ll coordinate our tiling accordingly. Do you want a large tile with a smaller border? Are there a lot of turns and corners? We will carefully measure and professionally tile your kitchen so it looks spectacular!

Fireplaces

There are different fireplaces, (gas, electric and wood), many surround materials and almost as many codes to comply with when doing a fireplace surround. Dan O’s knows the codes and is experienced with the materials so you will have a beautiful, safe fire-surround!

Natural Stone

There are a lot of natural stones that customers can choose: slate marble, limestone, granite or cobblestones are among them. They vary in color, size, and durability. Many natural stones are very elegant and colorful with movement and color fazes in them and can be customized with a honed or polished edge.

Porcelain Tile

Porcelain is a very hardy tile. It is very durable and is great for kitchens and heavy traffic areas. Porcelain tile has a shade color that runs all the way through it, so if you chip the tile on a corner it will still blend in with the floor and not stand out like a ceramic tile would. There is a variation in the material which means the color of the tile can vary with 1 to 4 different shades in the material. The higher the number, the more variation you will see and a lower number means less color. Porcelain tile is becoming more popular in the trade than ceramic tile due to the durability of the material.

Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile varies just like the porcelain tile with a v1 v2 v3 v4 in the material. Most of the tiles have a glaze over the clay. When it chips you will see the clay part of the tile. This will call for repairs or a touch up of the tile, depending on the amount of damage to the material.

The quality of work that Dan and his team does in unmatched! You won’t regret having him do any tile project.
